Wine growers Made in Italy productions
Italy is one of the largest producers of particularly well-known and appreciated fine wines in the world. The most prized Italian wines are divided into DOCG, DOC and IGT and differ in geographical area and the type of grape used during production.
All the Italian regions, thanks to the plurality of climates and the changing territorial orography, can boast however wine productions worthy of note, with peaks of excellence for each of them.
The Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin, known as DOCG, is an Italian brand that indicates the geographical origin of a wine to the consumer.
The DOCGs have been reserved for wines already recognized as DOC (DOC) for at least ten years and are considered of particular value. A quality that is shown in relation to the intrinsic qualitative characteristics compared to the average of those of the analogous wines thus classified, due to the incidence of traditional natural, human and historical factors and that have acquired renown and commercial enhancement at national and international level.
