Unspoiled landscapes, a land made of hills, mountains and valleys, which originates in the heart of the boot and extends over the middle Tiber basin. It is also the region of Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake in central Italy, in whose territory there are still the remains of Etruscan settlements. Known are the Marmore Falls, considered among the most beautiful in Europe and a destination for sports lovers of canoeing, kayaking and more. Among the pearls of the region stand out Assisi and Orvieto, famous for its spectacular Duomo, for the palaces, the medieval alleys and the mythical Pozzo di San Patrizio.
Perugia, with a large historic center nestled on a series of hilly hills a short distance from the Tiber, retains a medieval aspect and presents the characteristics of a municipality with flat areas and a multitude of greenery and fields. Art city rich in history and monuments, founded by the Etruscans, it is a cultural center and international tourist destination and university location. Foligno is the richest and most important commercial and industrial center of the Umbrian Valley and the main communications center of the entire region.

Umbria is a region of central Italy located in the heart of the peninsula. It is the only landlocked sea. The territory is mainly made up of mountainous and hilly areas, where wooded areas abound which, together with the widespread olive groves, characterize Umbria as a "green" region. Protected by the Apennine ridge from cold winds, the region has a transitional climate, with a prevalent sub-Mediterranean imprint: the winters are not very cold and the summers cool and windy. Umbria is a land with a strong historical identity which manifests itself in the conservation of traditional events and festivals and, in addition to this, it presents a rich variety of dishes and typical products such as oil and wine, but also bread and various focaccias passing through the various game dishes, to get to the cured meats of Norcia and its famous black truffle.
